The second Indymedia Scotland website has been switched off and become an archive website.
Pictures fron the Indymedia Centre at the 2007 Camp for Climate Action. The centre ran for just under a week on a mix of solar and wind, taking power from 4 power providers at different times.

This spreadsheet contains hundreds of events in the history of Indymedia UK. If people are interested in putting some of the entries into the site, perhaps expanding on them, that would be great!
During the Climate Camp, the field IMC media centre was open for a minimum of five hours each day (two and a half each morning and evening), with these limited opening hours primarily aimed to conserve power. Some days it was open longer, and it ran fully all day for two days until about midnight during the main day of action.
Stirling field IMC during G8 2005, 02. to 09. July, set up by people from imc bristol, psand.net and bristol wireless and used by many others. Tent with pp working on laptops.
The IMC in Edinburgh was open for about two weeks during the G8 protests 2005. ca 25 public access terminals plus boxes for audio, video and pictures as well as laptop ports. Ca 1000 pp used it.
In preparation for the 2005 G8 Summit in Edinburgh, a media convergence was hosted by Indymedia London at The Institute for Autonomy occupied social center. About 100 media makers attended the two-day event, which helped plan strategies and tactics for media production at the anti-G8 mobilizations set for the early summer.
RampART Social Center hosted a party as part of the Venezuela Week of Solidarity during the recall referendum in Venezuela. There was an Indymedia access point for those seeking information, and also for those with reports they would like to upload.
ImcScotland becomes independent with the official launch of http://scotland.indymedia.org on Ibiblio using the DADA CMS. Starting of in October 2003 as a test version, it officially starts off on the 1st of May in 2004, when most activists are actually in Dublin fighting the first Euro Mayday with the extension of the European Union and the EU minister meeting.
